Kathy Sheraw, RN opened Leesburg Laser Center in 2004 to provide the service of laser hair removal in a safe, professional setting at truly affordable rates. It is her priority to fully inform her patients about the process of laser hair removal before they make their decision to have the treatment. As a nurse, it is her natural approach to be a patient advocate.
Your first appointment at Leesburg Laser Center is a complimentary consultation. At that appointment, one of our Registered Nurses will explain to you how laser hair removal works, address any questions you may have and evaluate your skin and hair. Next, the RN will do test spots with the laser so that you can experience how the treatment feels and she can determine the best settings for your skin and hair types. For women, underarms are used for the test area and for men, the neck or a portion of the back is typically used
Because there is the possiblity of hyper- or hypopigmentation with laser treatments, you will need to wait one week after your test spots before returning for a treatment elsewhere on your body. Although this is a rare side effect, it is our policy at Leesburg Laser Center to do everything we can to avoid any side effect. Your safety is always our number one concern.
At Leesburg Laser Center, we will never try to ‘sell’ you anything. Our goal is to provide you with the information you need to make your own decision about laser hair removal. We want you to be comfortable with us and with your decision. We never have a special offer that ends today at 5:00 and we won’t make you sign up for treatments at your consultation. In fact, since you simply pay at each session, you never make any payments in advance. We don’t want to make you feel trapped into getting treatments. Instead, we work hard to provide you with excellent service so that you will not only want to keep coming back but you’ll tell your friends about us as well. Kathy enjoys working in the laser hair removal field largely because she knows personally what it is like to have unwanted hair.
