Topical Anesthetics At Leesburg Laser Center we have never allowed the use of topical anesthetics (numbing creams) for laser hair removal. Our laser is comfortable enough that we have never had a patient unable to tolerate a laser hair removal treatment. Topical anesthetics are messy to use, add unnecessary expense to the laser hair removal process and they can occasionally cause serious side effects or allergic reactions.

Laser Hair Removal Equipment At Leesburg Laser Center we use the Candela Gentlelase Mini. (www.candelalaser.com) for laser hair removal. It is the only laser company on the market with the patented Dynamic Cooling Device. This device sprays a burst of cryogen just before the laser pulse. The cryogen cools the skin to protect it from the heat of the laser while allowing for the destruction of the hair follicle. This spray of cryogen also makes the Candela laser the most comfortable laser on the market today.
