What is Laser Hair Restoration?
Low level laser therapy can help a person with thinning, brittle or weakened hair improve the quality of their hair. The gentle light increases blood to the scalp by 54% after just one treatment. The customized products help to normalize the sebum in the scalp which can be a major contributor to poor quality hair.
What happens during the 1 year program?
A treatment is a 30 minute session sitting under the laser hood. There is no pain involved. For the first 5 weeks, treatments are twice a week. For the next 5 weeks, treatments are weekly. Every 3 months, we will evaluate your progress with our 50X and 200X camera. This helps us determine if you are ready to come every other week and then eventually, monthly. Throughout the entire process, you will be using our specially formulated hair and scalp products.
How do I get started?
Simply give us a call to set up your complimentary consultation. At that appointment we will take photographs of your hair and scalp to help determine if you are a good candidate for laser hair therapy. If you are a good candidate, you can start your first treatment at that appointment.
How much does it cost and what is included in the price?
Low level laser therapy is available only as a one year package. Since we customize each person’s treatment plan, we offer it at a set price. That way, if you need more treatments, you won’t pay extra. It can take up to 6 months to see results. Since we tend to want immediate results with anything we do, we feel it is to your benefit to pay up front so that you are more likely to continue through with the entire program. A one year package includes a minimum of 33 treatments and hair/scalp care products for the entire year. The cost for the one year program is $3995. Since we are just adding this service, we are extending a special price through the month of Octobe of 20% off or $3195.
How do I know it will work?
The best way is to come in and let us evaluate your hair and scalp condition. If you are ‘shiny bald’ it is likely that this will not work for you. However, if you still have hair but it is very thin or otherwise in poor condition, then you may be a good candidate.
Can I keep taking Rogaine or Propecia if I am getting this treatment?
You can keep taking this medications, however, it is our preference to slowly wean you off these medications. Most people don’t see much of a difference with these medications and they can have side effects. We can discuss that with you further at your consultation.
